    Gary Rowett

I am actually quite pleased we didn't get Rowett as manager now.
As soon as he realised there would be a prudent season ahead he wants to #### off.
Hope we do Stoke twice next season, oh and Derby too!!

I'm not sure Stoke would be a better option for him. Seems like a lot of wasters there like there were at ours. Could take a while to sort out

I work with a Derby fan who quite rates McLaren, not too fond of Rowett though

Good job we got our man early Lyme. I dipped into the Derby site a couple of days ago and as expected there was
the he's terrible ( Maclaren) there were as many who think he'll do well here, and is a great manager

Yeah he said he could see it within 5 mins of walking through the door. Again, Hughes's doing. Same will happen at Southampton before long. Southampton used to bring through quality players hand over fist. Hasn't happened now for a few years since they've had all that money to spend. Will happen even less if they keep Hughes. And unless Stoke can sell most of theirs or get back up and stay there they will go the same way as us.

Rowett is a right mug if he thinks Stoke will do better than Derby next season.

I must say, I was so wrong about rowett.
Really wanted him at our club but, after fleeing Derby the way he has done, this shows the guy has no loyalty whatsoever.

With Derby reaching the playoff semi, A bigger club, better stadium and players, he has chosen to go to Stoke for one reason....... Money.

He is a young redknapp. Fark him.

Isn't he a Stoke fan? I can see why he left though. Derby are going to have to sell this year so it will be a tricky season for them. Stoke will have money to spend and a better chance of promotion.

Does come across as a bit of a prostitute but I would rather have had two years under him, then him jumping ship, than what we have just had

It isn't just the money grabbing.

It's the fact that he can't get his sides playing decent football. I'd wager good money that in a straw poll of Derby fans asked to choose between Rowett & SMac the majority would opt for the latter.
