      Could be curtains Dave.

Maybe hes done what the club required during during a difficult period but now it's time for a better, trusted manager to take this team on.

Short sighted mistake in my opinion. We are halfway through a project and it seems foolish to replace him mid job.

Don't see it that way myself.

We've had a difficult season with a few players being shown the door, and the realisation dawning that we need to operate on a much lower budget moving forward. Holloway has done a good job of holding everything together, even if it has been pretty frustrating and ugly at times.

After this summer, what we are likely to be left with is a squad of very talented but inexperienced players. Next season we will almost definitely have the lowest average age in our squad that we have ever had. To me, it makes sense to have a manager in place that is used to working with young players. Someone tactically astute, who knows how to develop technically gifted youngsters. Even Ollie's biggest fans wouldn't claim him to fit that description.

For me, this is a watershed moment. The last of the big earners are going. A new breed of exciting new players are coming through. This is the ideal time for some fresh ideas and a new direction. Harsh on Holloway of course, who has exceeded expectations in terms of league position this season. But let's face it, plenty of managers here have been fired more harshly in recent years!

General, that 352 craap for 3/4 of the season was unforgivable.

Also, the digging out of players and the fans by numpty too the media cemented many peoples opinions on him.
