      Sorry Pete but they did learn from Sousa thats why we were so solid in defence, its not something which carries over when there is a change in tactics / formations / defensive partnerships.

          w12ranger, my point is this.

          We have a terrific October, we knew the team before kick off, now we are second guessing. THATS THE PROBLEM, no settled eleven.

          Dropping players, then expecting them to win the game in last 20 minutes,as if to say sorry lads "now get me out of the S,hit" is not the way to go.

            hmmmm
            how many of our players last season said that Paolo Sousa was the best coach that they had ever worked under and that they learnt more about football from him than anyone else

            but yet he was drummed out of our clb,and now Swansea,yes Swansea are above us

            well done to all of you who were involved

              "Get over it, we finished mid table with Sousa in charge and we are that now."

              Sousa was binned off well before the end of the season, remember

              you reep what you sow. we were all over the place today and madgilton looked confused and not in control.

              Why was Sousa made to play 442 and yet Madgilton can get away with playing any type of formation his flight of fantasy decides

                Erikson used to talk to sousa for hours about football and confidence, and converted him from a front man to an accomplished holding player. He never forgot that, and was determined to pass on the same knowledge, football and confidence.

                Even pat said he talks and talks, got the players to believe, all top managers talk about confidence, we let a good one go there, not helped by the fact that the club bullsh#t and price rises had turned some people's patience levels.

                  In the history of our club doing stupid things, getting rid of Sousa will over time only look more and more unbelievable IMO.

                  Possibly the only thing stupider will have been to appoint such a complete a.rsewipe as his replacement.

                      Well, I travelled to Barnsley and Doncaster last season and it was no better or worse than the last two games.

                      yet the guy who lost those two games is classed as a fking genius

                          Which is a problem when our squad now is much stronger than the squad we had then wouldn't you say?

                            we lost both and had a ratio of about a goal a month.

                            We may have lost to Middlesborough, but last season we were beaten 1-0 at home, by a team now in Division 1, so he wasn't that great either.

                                Blackstock =Simpson

                                Lopez = MAHON

                                Sousa had Tarrabt too for a while and Cook.

                                Both didn;t have ROWLANDS..The only players Sousa didn't have was Buzsacky/ faurlin/Watson.

                                Everyone wanted Watson, but he just hasn't cut the mustard

                                So, No not sure our squad is stronger.
