          • Do you think players in the 70s used to shave their ball bags? In the 70s it seemed to be hairy heaven? When I got to the 80s there was an element of trimming going on.

            Do you think Stan and Don had hairy scotums and did Mary Slavin have a hairly growler?

              I haven’t a clue what a professional football club does behind close doors, but I take your point about doctoring the attendance figures.

              I stand to be corrected, but our highest home attendance is 41,000, against, once again Leeds in the FA cup around 1946 at White City,
