One thing that has always bugged me about that picture, is that it was the 76/77 as that Adidas kit was our European adventure one. Granted it has got all the 75/76 team in it but sadly it seems there was never a team photo done THAT season, only the next one, when there were 2 or 3 done.
                      Still love it though.

That pic of 75/6 season brings back memories. First game we beat Liverpool 2-0 and I thought then we'll smash all comers that year.
It wasn't till after Xmas that we hit rhythm going on a unbeaten run of 12 games winning 11 and drawing one with 3 games left we went to evil Narwich and lost then won the last 2.
                        What a season.

Sad init, envy, and greed, are what the game is all about now. Too much money in it.
I remember olduns saying that when I was a youngster, and I thought they were daft,
and just looking back through rose tinted specs.
But it's true money has ruined the game

Spot on , back then well run small clubs could compete on a level playing field with the big clubs.Sadly those days are long gone thanks to the premier league and sky greed.

lot of younger people dont even care about game nowdays, so much other stuff to entertain them and pricing out dont help. The fan base is getting older and older.

We had the best of it late 70s/80s and early 90s cup finals , European football and giving the big boys a bloody nose on and off the pitch.
