After three appearances in Arsenal's warm-up games - with a goal return of precisely nil - the teenage marksman was on his way out - to Crystal Palace in a swap deal involving Kenny Sansom and keeper Paul Barron.
It was one of the most bizarre transfers in history. And certainly up there with other short-lived moves.

To get a ticket for the 6th round against Chelsea you had to produce a programme from the Derby County 5th round tie, the young kid on the right is holding one.Originally posted by QPRDave View Post

The best part of 30,000 Rangers Fans were at that Derby game, it has always puzzled me how 15,000 Scummers got in to Loftus Rd for the 6th Round.I have supported Rangers for 55 seasons, since March 1969.
