Totally agree, argument is we should be ambitious and somehow that is à positive. As I saïd on this thread early TF years we spent spent spent....and as now accepted by all pointless...but as a club apart from that weve never really been ambitious but someone mentioned signing Marsh. The reality is we are NOT nor ever been ambitious and therefore thé diligent and sensible way we are currently doing things is not alien to us.

I think you need to invest in players but most importantly have a plan in mind on how you want things to be and where you want to end up.

A happy medium is needed though....we foolishly spent millions on wronguns...we need to make sure we identify good quality players with the right character but money will still ne needed, not as much as was wasted on Bosingwa, Cesar, Fabio, Park etc....we still need a little more investment than what we've seen tonight.
