I'm talking more about next season. Phillips, Fer, Sandro and Austin will all be gone so this scenario is exactly what we should be looking at. Get those players like Gladwin, Furlong, etc into the team in January - start building now.

This team at the moment is only just holding its own in the championship so any thoughts of the prem with this team are a pipe dream! If we are rebuilding as the club states then lets rebuild..not boom and bust every season..i have lost faith in Ramsey but have not lost faith in the Plan.

I renewed on strength of Ramseys promise of good entertaining and attacking football at beginning of season.

Yes Bolton had goals but some of the football was dire to say the least.

I don't think I will go again until Ramsey is removed either totally or sideways and as for Ferdinand
he is losing a lot of his legend status in my book for this total shambles.

Win a game 4-3 coming back from 2 down with a last minute goal and the "football was dire". If your going to moan about the Bolton game, probably a good thing you dont come again

Whilst I get your point about fear of relegation and of course not replacing them would be a worry and if a run continues it could get serious. I don't feel Fer, Phillips or Sandro going will make a drastic difference in comparison with players we could bring in. Sandro is the only one there who I feel really shows his Premier League quality at all and kinda useless in getting goals (I know a couple of shots but still speculative) and not shown much in getting back. Feel he is stunted as he gets yellows so early in games that he can't perform for the rest (On tuesday night), plus often injured. Austin I agree is a big player for us but we will have to replace him no matter what. He is leaving and he deserves to. Of course we should have sold and rebuilt this summer but again backroom staff decided otherwise in regards to the fee. Even if these players left we shouldn't be getting relegated. We aren't one of the worst 3 clubs. If we can get 25/30 million for all 4 and also get rid of those high wages we can bring in the best league one players and other championship players on lower wages to cement a mid table place this season after January, cherry picking for positions we need players. Of course players will leave that end up being too good for us, but that would be fantastic to know we have brought those players through with scouting and working as a team which we can keep doing.

I dont care about getting promoted as the same will happen as the last two promotions, buy big, they turn out to have just come for the money and are actually terrible then we get relegated again with the same situation. Get rid of Phillip, Fer, Sandro and Austin (preferably in Jan to gain some cash at least). Then have Hall, Luongo, Gladwin, Chery as the spine of the new team. Also bring Furlong back, Mulroney can get in and around the team. Then keep up the young better value buys with the academy as well and actually wait a couple of seasons to become a team before worrying about promotion.

You can't set out in a competition hoping to do well but not well enough to win. This season's competition is the Championship. Day one you set out to win it and worry about next season when you know the outcome of this. And we really would be a laughing stock if we have failed to learn from the past three years!
