I like green but he's going so what can we do! Play the kid, keepers don't need a bedding in peroid in this division imo

You have a point. Smithies is already experienced in the Championship at 25, could be worth throwing him in.

I'm hearing Rob Green is having a medical at West Ham and will be straight into the team to face Bournemouth tomorrow

Should have joined by noon, I think.

Does sort out who'll be in our goal tomorrow Kev.

Timmy I am in agreement with you.....unless they registered him by noon and then do the medical???
Even if he doesn't play tomorrow, he won't be playing against Rotherham

Get Smithies in the side. Keepers don't need bedding in, this boy can play this level and is no baby. Perfect opportunity for him to make his debut.

Good luck Greeno, you have been decent for us.

Think Green is a great keeper so gutted if he goes.

My mistake on Green being in the team, got my wires crossed...plan is to unveil him on the pitch at the game tomorrow

I agree but higher earner gone, Smithies is decent. I do rate Green a lot though
                          Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                          And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Greens done superb for us but he's back in the prem and with the club he supports, also we lose a high earner, so result for both parties

Done well for us, but for me will cost WHU more points then he gains for them. Will he even be first choice there? Long term I rather have Smithies in now instead of Green.

Well we'll get to see him every week on MOTD now so I am sure there'll be plenty of neutral judgement here
