For me Downing is an excellent signing and should be in the prem. amazed West Ham sold as he was probably their best player last season. Lambert will be good also, just won't be the player we saw at Southampton.

They will be up there for sure as very well run and good side and manager, but they have lost the championship player of the year also, and with expectation comes added pressure so let's see...... Just look at Derby, everyone's favourites at the start, and top in April before finishing 8th.... The championship is a brilliant and crazy division because so competitive. Can't wait.

Adabayor will be about £4-5m, so could get Austin also and still have over £10m change from Benteke.... They need more than one as sold Weimann also.

I did say early doors we would struggle to get 15m for Austin and was laughed out of court. Not saying its impossible but no one is exactly biting our hand off...
