I played sunday league football today.
Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.
We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!Comment

I don't agree with their reasons, I'm not saying they aren't allowed to hold that opinion.Shocking badge IMO, an important part of the club to which there is a lot of emotion attached amongst fans.
Don't see what KUPRs issue with people disliking it or not buying merchandise because of it, people like it, good luck to them, I don't, all about opinions this game, hence why we debate it on a forum.
Maybe he was in the design team ?!?!? ;)Comment

The elements of the current badge are extremely respectful of club traditions, even if you don't like how it looks as a whole. But at least if will have some fans input so you'd be hopeful it wouldn't end up as hideous as this one. Totally different to a man picking it who thought we were a pizza restaurant he was buying and made no attempt to engage with fans. We were the £20 mugs to him remember!!Comment

Where does the angel wings, crown and football come into the QPR tradition please????From the Hills of Kerry
To the streets of Free DerryComment

I don't believe that's a big enough reason for the change, I see it as a waste of money now. Need to look forwards and improve the club even before we think about the badge. The guy has now gone and has nothing to do with our club anymore. But at least if will have some fans input so you'd be hopeful it wouldn't end up as hideous as this one. Putting this in the hands of a bunch of rabble like us is madness.... Uncle Tony should stop peeing about and cobble something hoopy together on a beermat and send it to printers ASAP. Mucking about listening to any Tom, Dick and Harry for 1 year plus is effing silly. The thought of a load of deluded Picassos flooding t'internet with their "art" is horrific. Just sort it out this month please Tone!Comment

People arnt buying merchandise simple because they dont like the look of what they're paying for. Call it what you like, be all drama queen about it and call it boycotting.... put it like this, would you buy a top that you didnt like the look of?Jesus, this isn't difficult. That isn't what I said.
I get that people like the badge, I know the reasons why they don't, even if I disagree. I don't get why they're boycotting, but that's just me.
Suggesting that it isn't a QPR badge however, is on a whole different level.

Drama queen?!
I'm not the one not buying QPR merchandise because I don't like the look of the badge, and demanding that it be changed.
Buying a QPR shirt is not a high fashion statement, is it?Comment

is this the most important thing that should be going on at the moment fu(k me! FFP.fine possible Transfer embargo , downgrading of the playing staff, appointing a novice as manager? and one of the most important things on the agenda is changing the Poxy badge, no wonder the clubs in a mess? is this to appease the fans, to take the minds of whats happening, for Fu(k sake who gives a #### about the badge it wont make us play better or influence what happens on the pitch,Comment

Who the hell buys football merchandise because it looks good?
QPR badge will always be the QPR badge regardless of it's aesthetic quality. It's the club that it represents, not the specific design that matters to me.
The current one does the job well enough for me. It has elements of old badges, local references and the hoops. It's not perfect, but then we'll do well to get one that we all like.
If it changes again, that will be the new QPR badge and on we go, it won't change anything fundamental about the club, it won't make anyone cheer louder when we score, or suffer more when we lose, will it?Comment

When it comes to clothing (which Im guessing is a big part of merchandise profit and that sales have dropped since the new current crest come about) not saying put a fashion show on, just that people like to look good or at least half decent and if a taty badge is stuck on the front of any clothing (football or not) people simply wont buy it....Who the hell buys football merchandise because it looks good?
