So we should be grateful for that should we,as I said total fluke at Wembley and we got there by the skin of our teeth and you know itOriginally posted by Nick View PostPretty sure Redcrap signed a few of those players who got us to Wembley in the 1st place.....
nothing to do with redcraps ability as a manager at all

Sums it up quite nicely for meOriginally posted by Ed the Ball View PostHere's my take.....
It seems obvious that Redknapp does not need to be working, I reckon he gets bored at home and needs to get out and be among "the lads". So negative #1 is that he did not really need to be in work.
Redknapp's mobility was not good which affected his mood and his motivation, negative #2 he was not fit for the job.
negative #3, he was far too cagey with his tactics, often going for a draw which nearly always backfired.
Redknapp did not like getting out of his comfort zone, therefore going for people he already has worked with. negative #4 buying over aged familiar players
negative #5 he was not honest enough to have called it a day long ago, ideally after Wembley.
I can think of two positives, #1 he was a big name in football and could attract big name people to the club (not always a good thing)
positive #2 he got us promoted at the first attemptI blew a lot on vodka and tonic, gambling and fags. Looking back, I think I overdid it on the tonic. - The one and only Stanley Bowles

Positives - we won promotion firs time round under him, though like others I wouldn't credit Arry with winning us promotion. Didn't get relegated to League 1.
Negatives - wasted a lot of money, didn't buy the players our squad obviously needed, squeezed TF for every penny he could, tried to ostracise our most talented player, played horrible football, gave all his mates coaching jobs, didn't improve many/any of our youngsters, made us even more of a joke than we were under Hughes, has left an ageing and inept squad for whoever replaces him, didn't take responsibility when things went bad, had a losing mentality (every team we ever lost to were a great side that we could never dream of matching), and has quite possibly set us up for another relegation. On top of that we payed him a fortune for the privilege.
Because he was our manager; that's his job. If I'm a teacher that doesn't teach my students but they still pass the test I shouldn't be taking credit, but if they fail I am partly responsible. At least that's how I see it.Originally posted by Kevin Mcleod View PostIf he wasnt responsible for the wins, then how could he of been for the losses? Come on bill mate.
Never wanted him here and I'm glad he's gone, hopefully to never return.

we
we all have good and bad things to say about him,if you look at gerry francis purchases devon white gary penrice ian holloway gary thomson dennis bailey these players did a job in the prem
but they all were free transfers or budget buys
les ferdinand had already been purchased as was clive wilson and david bardsley
darren peacock had been purchaesed and alan macdonad had come through the youth system
so the whole brilliant gerry francis team which finished 5th in the prem had been assembled for a very small amount of money
so yet another negative of harry redknapp was his inabillity to buy budget from our lower divisions

One of the worsed managers QPR have ever had
Also a crook
A man who never took any responcibilty for defeats
A man who took us up by luck
A man who loves spending
A man who lies
A man who praised the opposition
A man who criticized his own players
A man who liked negative football
A man who set a away record of 11 defeats in a row
A stubborn man
A can'tR's
