Those are media lies.Originally posted by dogsrrs View PostI have reservations about Sherwood but you cant use AVB win ratio against his , AVB wasted a lot of Levy's dosh and upset a lot of players , Sherwood Quickly got the changing room back on an even keel and still had a good win ratio briefly at Spurs
AVB wanted Hulk & Willian, he didn't make those signings, Levy & Balidini did. All Sherwood did was bring Adebayour back and send them out gung-ho.

Ffs not this cant.
He has only been in managment for 6 farking months. The guy has done nothing.
There are so many young experienced managers out there eg, shtttevveeee, eddie howe, carl robinson etc etc.
Farking shatwood would be the laziest appointment ever.
A side note, good to see hoddle and jorden farked off, just need bond to go and i will be a happy chappie

I'll get behind Sherwood when he's appointed. But agree I think its a panic appointment . There's better out there but we ain't got no say in the matter.Originally posted by Hitman34 View PostFfs not this cant.

No you won't - you're already referring to Sherwood in a derogatory fashion and he's not even here yetOriginally posted by Hitman34 View PostFfs not this cant.

Did he do a good job at Spurs then? I seem to recall he got the sack after only five months. Why was that?Originally posted by West London is Rss View PostBasically people don't want Sherwood because they think his a bell end... Tells you all you need to know about some of our fans haha.
If you have a football brain, you only have to look at his playing career and the job he did at Spurs throughout his time there to realise it makes sense for what we need.Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

"Sherwood’s readiness to speak his mind was hugely admirable and it reflected the strength of his personality but it became a problem to the Tottenham chairman, Daniel Levy, who came to consider him as too loose a cannon. Sherwood’s comments after the 4-0 defeat at Chelsea on 8 March went down particularly badly. He accused his players of lacking “guts” and of there being a “deafening silence” at boardroom level with regard to his prospects."Originally posted by QPR Richard View PostDid he do a good job at Spurs then? "...It could be interesting to see how Sherwood’s brand of man-management is received in the QPR dressing room. At Tottenham, he took no prisoners and put noses out of joint, including that of Sandro, who moved to Loftus Road last summer. The midfielder was angry at having been left out of the matchday squad against Fulham on 19 April and he tweeted that he was not injured. “What he’s stating is correct,” Sherwood said. “He’s not good enough to be in the side at the minute.” Sandro came back on Twitter. “LOL LOL LOL,” he wrote.
Sherwood is no respecter of reputations and he made it pretty clear how he felt about Jan Vertonghen, Paulinho and Érik Lamela, for example. To him, young players such as Harry Kane and Nabil Bentaleb deserved equal billing. (Look at how those two are doing at present.)"
