Been to a few spurs games this year and last and I am not going to go into the why's and hows of doing such a thing but there have been reasons for it.

Anyway I have seen enough of adebayor to comment on this.

The main game that stands out for me was last season during Sherwoods appointment.
They were playing Everton and won 1-0. A pretty awful game to watch for a neutral and I was saying to my mate how pi ss poor Adebayor had performed.
Well game looked to be heading for a 0-0 when Adybayor struck a fantastic shot from 20 yards and won them the game. He will be just that, 1 of the most frustrating players you have seen.

What I would say to West is forget about the clubs he used to play for, he is NOT the beast of a striker, infact the unplayable one he once was!

This is a player on the way out, after watching the young Harry Kane who I think could become an england legend, Adebayor is miles away from a start now. Kane has so many weapons and basically shows how being a big strong centre forward should be done, working his socks off causing defenders a headache for 90mins. I think going down the road of buying a player on his way out is a massive gamble but we are in a situation to change it and this would certainly be some change.
I'd of rather defoe at similar wages.

In general, I agree about Kane in comparison to Adebayour but if you play him on he shoulder of the defender, Adebayour stil can be very effective as a goalscorer. The problem is that he often drops to deep.

No, the problem away is he doesn't want to play Zamora from the start as he won't last, so being the genius he is keeps him as a rubbish plan B. if he had a target man to start I think he would which would change the dynamic away from home completely.

You've basically contradcited yourself there. You say that Zamora should start away from home but won't last a full 90 minutes, yet criticse Redknapp for keeping him on the bench. Given Zamora's injury woes how a) else is Redknapp supposed to manage him and b) can he be considered the answer to our problems away from home?

I wouldn't consider Zarate to be a playmaker by any means, and as we all know Taarabt is a "1 good game in 5" type.

On the correct money and till the end of the season, Adebayor would be a fantastic signing for a club like us. Will score goals.

I suggest you actually read what I wrote. At no point did I say Zamora should start away from home! Personally i dont think he should start any games and Vargas should play with austin..!

I gave a reason why I think Harry doesn't start him away and said if he had a target man who would last a game potentially I think he'd choose to play that way, hence he refuses to play the smaller nimble striker options we have.

Obviously true and still no one gets it. Even assuming Bobby could do a full 90m stint with a bit of pace, his presence dictates the cr ap we get serverd up as football. BZ = Plan C or maybe B at best.

I think the way WHU use the diamond is interesting because they too have crap wingers, Downing is better at the tip of the D. This could be a model for us as a 4-4-2 diamond, I'd play Fer at the tip behind Vargas and Chaz. Vargas would be free to operate around Charlie. It isn't ideal for Charlie, he really needs old fashioned wingers but we simply don't have them. We havent done real pace for years. Cut according to cloth.

Cisse was integral to keeping us up when we survived and I can see Adebayor having a similar impact... (Minus the red cards, hopefully!)
