Bench Green -- seems to almost accept goals being scored -- thing it might wake him up

Bench Fer -- he disappears from most games

Start speed and commitment in the midfield: Barton, Sandro, Phillips Krancjar

Start Taraabt with Charlie -- Zamora not good for better than 15-20 minutes a game

Bring Hoddle out of the stands and onto the bench -- didn't hire him to be a spectator

Finally, take Harry off the bench (where he's a total downer) and sit him next to Tony F. Betcha we'll see Harry a bit more "animated" then.

Woeful today. Can't play for the team. Has no pace, can't lay it off, hold it up, run onto balls played over the top, through the defence or into the flanks.

Charlie was supposed to be the no2 striker. Remy was sold and apparently left us in lurch. The real problem is that we knew it could happen last minute.com but didn't plan for remy to be sold. Embarrassing

Can't play in his own hold up play is awful, clearly not coached as doesn't engage the centre half early to pin him. In fact struggled to play up front on his own in the Champ, you have to play to players strengths and play a system that suits them, we don't. Need to play two up front and Austin will do ok not a world beater but ok. Also needs to be a bit nastier to keen to shake hands and apologies after a tackle as if he can't gelieve he is in the Prem

Strikers playing with their back to goal hold the ball up. That means we keep possession and midfielders can get the ball back and make use of the flanks. If they don't hold the ball up then we lose possession. Strikers who can't hold the ball up have to be able to work the flanks or run on to through balls.... Charlie, sadly, does none of these.

He cannot be expected to carry the team especially playing up front by himself. I am sure he must be frustrated. It does amaze me when some on here think he should be playing for England then others think is out of his depth in the ELP.

The whole team were $hit. We had about a 15min spell before they scored their 2nd where we were playing well, but overall we were complete and utter b0ll0cks!!!... bad call picking Austin out as the wrong'un today. Think the whole set up was wrong today, should have gone for it from the off with 2 up front IMO!

Charlie will score goals....he already has for christsake. He's having to play against 2 cb's and getting sh*te service.
The whole team is setup all wrong in my spectators opinion.
We have to play 2 up front no matter what. Whether we play 4 or 5 in mf depends on the players available.
But the one thing that is obvious imo is we have to move up the field and we have to press....without this teams just pass around our players like bollards
