I know v little about vargas so stand tb corrected and am always v wary of youtube clips but from what i saw on that montage he looked far more of a number 10 to me than an out and out striker.

Its a fair cop guv..... I was under the impression that his preferred position was as a striker although he does look to play behind as well.

Speak for yourself. i thought Hughesless' signings were crap - I was concerned before KO v Swansea and ****ing concerned afterwards. It was clear Hughesless didn't have a clue and/or was prompted by Joorabchian and poor old gullible Tony was backing him. So no, basically. This time feels completely different.
