I'm certainly not knocking Hendry but if Fer is as good as the posters are saying he is and if he has to give way to Fer then so be it

I'd probably hang onto Henry as a squad player too. Not my favourite player and not really Premier League standard but you need players in your squad that are happy to warm the bench and won't kick up a fuss if they are left out when everyone else is fit. Remember there is no chance of an emergency loan in the Permier League if we find ourselves with too many injuries and suspensions between the transfer windows!

Not sure where this Henry loving is coming from? No point in being a useful squad player if you are nowhere near good enough to play any part in games. Before anyone pipes up and says he can do a job for any amount of time on the pitch - he is barely good enough to come on in games at Championship level. If he played for us in the Premier League he would get run rings round.

I wouldn't base much on odds Roller. I've had inside info a few times regarding managers etc and when trying to place bets on, the bookies cut the odds immediately and refuse the bet. You then go to back at the new odds and they cut the odds again and so on until the price is terrible.

I once tried to back a manager at 33/1, only for 20 quid. I got my bet on at 3/1 in the end, that's an example of how much they cut prices. He didn't get the job either haha.

Is it a good sign the odds are so short, yeah probably but I wouldn't base much on it.

And we lost two nil at Burnley, so would still have lost if Kelvin hadn't screwed up for one of their goals. I agree with Sammy, however. Kelvin isn't PL class, sadly.

Hes certainly not going to set the prem alight but just like Bobby will have his part to play from the bench with 30mins to go the same will apply to Henry. if were hanging on with 20mins to go who do you want coming off the bench Adel or Henry

If the argument is we should see off Henry because he is not prem class then unfortunately the same applies to Hill and Dunne so we need to add another two defenders to our wanted list

We need to look at the bigger picture Palace done alright last season with a team of Karl Henrys as did Norwich the season they went up every team needs foot soldiers as well as generals
