He certainly needs to step up as he wasn't good enough the last time we were in the Premier League

He got away with it last season but he will be found out again this year if he carries on giving the ball away , gives away stupid fouls and doesn't improve on his set pieces

Prefer to look at the human aspect of it. Completely went off the boil around xmas time right when his 1st child was born. Big life changin thing that and often forgotten.

Same happened with Onuoha. Was slated by some after some bad performances not long after we signed him, but his mother had just passed away.
And going back further, when Ray Jones died, the game after that in his memory we got d!cked 3-0 by Southampton, and it was an awful performance.

I would read quite a bit into to be honest. Fair enough he might not be match fit, but you'd at least expect him to be on the bench. Add the fact that even Norwich's manager has admitted it will be difficult for them to keep him, and I think it's a safe bet he won't be there in September. Whether he joins us or not though is obviously a different matter.

Yes. Even if he isn't match fit right now, you'd at least put him on the bench and give him 20-30 mins.
