Fair point, but also prices are a lot more inflated this year I think due to the massive rewards in the prem now

Welbeck would be a quality signing. Deeney for £8.5 million? The opposite.

Just wanted to share it more for the welbeck bit and to see what people thought as hadnt been a name really linked before.

I would rather spend 20 million on Welbeck than 7 on Deeney but it will never happen.

Welbeck is class, doubt van Gall will let him go anyway

Agreed, prices for championship strikers have been mental this summer.

Can get Frazier Campbell for £600k by comparison.

Welbeck at QPR, sorry but no chance. I know we are buzzing about Caulker, but we are are only Rangers, players like Welbeck would never come here unless its when they are over 30. And thats not having a dig at anybody at the club, its just a fact of football life.

I'm not encouraging that but he's twice the player Deeney is. Our squad is championship quality as it stands, we need to sign players who will actually make the step up

Time for our world famous scouts to pull one out the hat

Welbeck would be a good signing.Yes his finishing
Could be better, and he's inconsistent BUT this is the man Fergie dropped Rooney for a cpl of yrs ago in the
Biggest game of united's season against Real Madrid. Also he's in and out the team, sometimes on the left, sometimes on the right and sometimes through the middle.Play
him regularly and we might have a player on our hands.I'd rather Bamford and or Sigthorsson then Deeney!

On a side not Stoke & Hughes have just signed Bojan for under £10m…

                        Will get 10-15 goals easy

Hard to disagree with that Bush.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Bamford would be a loan and given the crazy state of the market might make most sense. Some might also think he is a bit sharper than the other contenders.
