Couldn't agree more about O'Neill and think he's far more suited to a lower to middle Championship side than the PL... Vied with Aaron Hughes as being our worst player last season...

          truth hurts

i'd agree with all he said except i'd let O'niell go & keep Taraabt.

We need someone with a long term plan and Redknapp is not that guy. If we get relegated & he leaves, we're gonna be in the ****. At least get a manager who can be here for 3 years or so

Not sure if he works for espn or just blogs on their website. Any name can be given as the authors, just not sure why he is only described as a blogger and not ex-coach who was relieved of his duties last week. surely that would give the article more credence? Maybe wally downes jr forgot to put jr!.... And how does this reflect on him for future employers? he leaves QPR, a week later blogs an article criticising our transfer activity so far, how much players are on per week and how much our budget this summer is. I may be wrong but highly doubt this is him

It's Wally Downes Jnr writing this I think, also a QPR fan therefore why he refers to QPR as 'we'

I think many fans on here and elsewhere would say his professional foul kept QPR in the final, as (Russell?) was more likely to score than miss.

Seemed pretty fair to me and agree with a lot of what was said. I hope Rio is not as bad as painted here.
Some on here don't get what makes a team i think.....you need Gary O'Neill type players in teams, same as you need diff strikers etc

It's what has put him out of the job IMO. Who needs wally downes advising on defensive coaching when Rio Ferdinand can have an input.

Either way he shouldn't or be associated with any article like that, far to close to the mark.

Wally is entitled to his opinion of cause .
But doese anybody really think he did a good job for us ? I for one I could'nt see that our defence was stronger with him on board
