Small club like Southamton pruduce/buy unknown players and sell with a lot of profit.
Offers are so high they can't refuse - if Austin scores 30 goals next season we will probably get 50m offer - would we refuse?

Agree Dave keep hearing we have to get young players with resale value to me that's a no. If there young and good I don't want to sell them I want them to stay and play for QPR

We were always a selling club, until our players became so bad nobody wanted to buy them. Bit of realism needed. We sold Andy Sinton and bought Trevor Sinclair for a fraction of the price. That's what a well-run club our size does. And its what Southampton do now. Recent years we have looked to go the easy route, but you never make any money that way - and sooner or later you end up with lower transfer budgets as a result.
