    Caulker or Lascalles

If Caulker signs will we end our interest in Lescalles?
£8million for Caulker, but can't see us spending big money on another Centreback when the money can be spent elsewhere.
Thinking that we may have bid for Lescalles just as back up if Caulker says no, and at the same time telling Caulker that he needs to make a decision.

Can't see us signing both, especially if Rio signs as well.

Both, Rio is a short term solution.

But we would still have Ned as well, be well harsh if he was dropped in favour of Lescalles if both signed.

Harry has placed bids on both. Four for the forest bloke and eight for caulker. There is no either or, he wants both.

As are Hill and Dunne. Makes sense to try and get both.

Both of those signing, along with Ned, Hill and Dunne should sort us out at CB.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Might just be Redknapp is thinking of going three at the back with attacking full/wing backs hence the apparent interest in attacking full backs like Augier. If that is the case we would need big, but mobile CH's such as Ned, Caulker and Lascelles, with Ferdinand acting as the third sweeper like defender?

Forest turned down bid so unless it was increased only in for Chaulker who appears to be doing a Hooper and weighing up his options waiting to see if anything better presents itself

But he still bid for both, meaning he wants both. Whether he gets either of them is a different thing all together. I think Pearce will push us for too much dough, so Caulkers more likely as we have said we will pay what is required, up to him now.

On the basis I know absolutely nothing of the Forest kid I'd say Caulker who's always looked a good player.

But as mentioned if we could get both then lovely.

Caulker for me..prem experience and also very useful in the other penalty area. Scored a few for Cardiff last season.

Very good point about scoring, we never look dangerous at set pieces but always look like we will concede when defending them. Would be nice to get say 5-10 goals from corners

Dunne getting old, caulker looks like a good long term candidate should we survive this season

Looks like Palace are trying to hijack our bid for Caulker.

I haven't actually seen Caulker play that much really. Is he that good? Shipped out of spurs then onto Cardiff, who conceded the most goals last season. I like the fact he's young and English though.
