According to the Mail this morning,whilst Sunderland are interested in Williams,and Swansea have opened talks for a new deal,Williams is understood to favour a move to Loftus Road.

Spot on.

Every time we don't sign a player the media have said we're interested in, it results in fury and hatred aimed at the player (who usually becomes **** at this stage too) and his agent, or claims of incompetence are aimed at the club (usually Beard gets the worst of it)

All the while we have no clue what if any interest actually existed.

It's all a little undignified and petulant.
