Do you read your posts before pressing the "send" button? If not, I would.Originally posted by BUSHRANGER1982 View PostHope there's a bidding war, and we get as much as we can for the mercenary.
Really do hope that we never, ever, enter into another lousy contract with another player like that, again.
Being a Queen's Park Rangers player, he should have been made to stay and help get us promoted.
I can only guess that Remy insisted on a clause in his contract that stated if we got relegated out of the premiersh!t, then we would have to loan him out to a premiersh!t club.
Surely, no club in their right mind would have tried to get by with just one really good striker in Charlie Austin, with a couple of sick-notes as back-up, and loan out Loic Remy to Nooocasle, if they really didn't have to, would they?

If there is a 'buy-out clause' then any club interested only has to offer the best contract, not the best transfer fee. I don't know why people are either getting excited that we may get a bidding war for Remy, or upset because Remy had the sense to make sure a clause was in place. I do wonder how some people manage their lives each day?!

There will definitely be a bidding war for Remy, he's to good a player for there not to be one.Originally posted by Shepherds Mush View PostI bet he'd love finishing 4th every season for £90k a week. Good luck to him.
Just hope we can get a bidding war going with another CL team.

Other clubs can still come in and offer more.

[QUOTE=jfish;1253770]...or we could just do what liverpool did with suarez in the summer and claim there isn't a buy-out clause when there is.Originally posted by theblackmafia. U[QUOTE=jfish;1253770]Yes they can, but why the f... would you when a (insert whatever the amount is) would trigger the clause? That makes no sense at all. if and again for the people who have difficulty reading- if there is a buy-out clause clubs will be offering Remy more money not offering us more of a transfer fee.Originally posted by theblackmafia.
