No... what he was saying is that he pays for his ticket home & away, as in one of the first people to have a ticket. What his asking is that why are people that pay later get better seating away from home, shouldn't the fans who pay first get better seats first?

Surely TF has no control over this? And I don't know anyone who cares what seat is on their ticket, it's more a sit where you want first come first serve basis every time I go away

Yes, that's how I understood it too. I think he has a point and the club could probably improve the process a bit. That said, away seating often seems to be "sit where you like" though so the row and seat on your ticket don't mean anything, and for those matches any extra effort would be wasted.
