Spot on... he did look like Guy Pearce.

Congratulations to the two who won the competitions. Clive is one lucky git for winning the Caterham experience, hope he enjoys it!

I know what you mean but his CV on O2 and St George Park ticks the boxes (he said delivered on time and budget) so regardless how he looks he appears to know his stuff. Thank god jobs are not based on how people look as I would never work if it was

Guy Pearce is differently the right man for the job.

I always assumed RM was more a Man City fan, but I was so happy to see that his heart is with QPR. Hope Tony brings him onboard in some way.

but why is guy pearce building our new training ground and stadium! now ill admit the down under actor has come along way since his stint in neighbours and has carved out a fine acting career for himself in hollywood, but does that give him the ablity to build our grounds!!!!!!! i think questions need to be asked here!!!!!!

Exactly. There is a small debt to a bank for the stadium loan, but the rest is a shareholder debt and they are talking about writing it off.
Perhaps thatll finally stop the panickers.

Stadium size between 30 and 40k, nowhere near agreeing a number yet though. Also considering 34k with the option of adding if need be. QPR will be the sole owners of the stadium.
The skapetis thing was a decision made by gallen and furlong as they thought he wasnt good enough.
              Any other issues?

I like the sound of what they have said about transfer targets. Said they've got a list of about 40 players ( separate list for champ and prem) doing extensive scouting on them. This summer is very important regarding player recruitment, we have to get it spot on and it sounds like they are planning for it.

Unbelievable ninja. Think we are really lucky to have tony and co at the club. Admit they have made mistakes but not running away here long term and putting their money where their mouth is.

During the first 15 minutes of the program, Rodney mentions something that really intrigued me. He goes on to say how a small team like Fulham can't financially compete with a club like Man United. I kind of wish he continued on this subject, because he brought up an interesting point. I think he was trying to get at something interesting with a few sports over here, particularly the NFL and Major League Baseball, with revenue sharing. All teams get an even piece of the pie, but when there is extra revenue from a team like the New York ****ees, from sales or revenue from their own television station, some of that revenue is shared with smaller teams, like the Pittsburgh Pirates. There is even more parity in the NFL, where there is a hard salary cap. I think that is what Rodney was trying to say, but I don't know how that would work in football. You would see a lot more rich teams, but at least you wouldn't see Barcelona or Real Madrid winning every year. Does this make any sense?

What was the question Stan ?

I won't be able to watch it till tomorrow.
"Steve, do you think 25k is a good option when there are indications that within four years, new stadiums on average have increased attendances of 60%?
For us that would mean around 29k."

Asked whether TF thought the lack of a footballing man at board level has proved a hindrance especially regarding player transfers.
