A legend?! Christ! I like Joey, think he's a good player and love him in our team; but you can't deny that he is symbolic of everything that has gone wrong with our club in the last few years. Saying that, he is trying to make ammends, and I can appreciate that! This isn't a dig at Joey by the way, more our transfer policy of the last few years!

barton is correct in criticising Hughes, who seems to be trying to lay the blame of his QPR failings on the board and lack of a decent training ground scouting network etc.

Not one word about 'his' poor choice of signings and decisions. i.e was Buzsaky any worse than Granero? he paid £8M fee and lots more in wages for a player who scored and assisted in less goals from fewer games than the player he offered only a 1 year extension to.

What about lumbering QPR with Zamora and Johnson, or Bosingwa, Mbia & Park etc. Was he unaware of Diakite's problems (he missed the last few games of his loan spell and took a long time to sign a permanent deal - was anything amiss)?

It was Hughes' job to sign players, coach them and try and sort out any issues they had on or off the pitch that contributed to their inconsistent diplays and lack of discipline etc.

No wonder Nelsen said it was the worst dressing room atmosphere he'd experienced, when you have a manager like Hughes who display such an arrogant attitude.

And finally, who is judging him on his final 12 games?

I am judging him on his whole 28 game spell as manager.

He took over when QPR were in 17th place and spent £12million in the January window to end up in 17th place.

How 'bout "the buck stops here", we have to play again as a team, we will spend our time on the practice pitch getting back there, and that he will only field a team of players who will go through brick walls to win (even if he starts five players from the U21s).
