At the risk of bringing up the T word, wasn't the bloke we loaned to Fulham a season long loan?

Only guessing here, but i would imagine that it was just a verbal loan, and no money or contract involved, so no rules apply.

Yes that's correct but there was a clause in the loan deal that allowed it to be terminated if both us and Fulham agreed. We both did so it was....

The difference is, Fulham didnt pay £2mill to take Taarabt on loan.

So if there was an opportunity to have Adel back from a season long loan why would the same not apply to have Remy back early obviously dependent upon Newcastle agreeing to this.

If he had big row with Pardew today and Newcastle said do one and sent him back does this mean we would still be unable to use him (same principle as Adel)

I guess it would depend on whether we had a recall clause in the contract. They could send him back but they'd still have him named in their squad for the Premiership and he'd still be officially signed on loan to Newcastle as far as the FA and Football League are concerned.

What is the official loan end date. Why is he not able to play? Is it a registration concern? Just wondering. No one has specified which rule stops him from playing now Newcastle season is finished. Couldn't we recall him?
