You'd sell one of the only remaining players who actually cares about our club? A player who has shown us loyalty in the past and is clearly a fantastic footballer when at the top of his game. In a squad full of players here on a short-term basis, you'd want to sell off one of our only long-serving players?

I don't see why not. I think our club has to do what's right and show faith in him. If we start showing loyalty to long-serving players we wouldn't have to keep signing 32-year-olds on free tranfers every other week!

Personally I don't think he will. Of course I'd love to be proven wrong but IMO he'll never be the player he was.

if I'm wrong happy day's let him stay, but if I'm right why not get him doing coaching or something that keeps him involved with the club. I don't want to see him go, like you said he's been brilliant for us and he loves the club but if he cant be involved somehow then as harsh as it sounds he's got to go. We can't have a player who can't play that's madness!... but like I said and don't get me wrong id love him to stay.
