Wasn't the Lotto deal paying huge sums based on QPR in the prem?....We spent 3 of that 5 year deal in the championship, so not sure how much we got from them....probably be the same with Nike

Very probably yes. To be honest we still have a decent, if dwindling, chance of promotion this year, so we still have a decent bargaining position. I'm sure you're right that any deal would increase in value on promotion.

Nike is s*it. They make some terrible kits, like Man Utd 1-2 season's ago. Prefer Adidas.

I would think the plans the club have would be a big factor in this deal. Sprat to catch the mackerel so to speak. There may be potential advertising opportunities for Nike at the new stadium which as we know will be multi-use.

Either way, I'm sure it'll be a good deal for us.

think the deal is great always wanted Nike or Addidas however I still think Tony is making a big mistake changing the badge for a noisy minority the poll showed that most wanted to keep it or could not care if it was changed !!

Yes they do want to be associated with us, of course they do . The maylasian airlines link and proposed new stadium make us a massive pull actually.

As was mentioned earlier, unless they use the teamwear hoops (which are very very thin at the moment), it's most likely to be a blue and white version of Celtic's current kit.

Lotto paid us huge sums (more than 14 PL clubs at the time the deal was signed)

It was a good deal financially, but only paid us big bucks if we were in the top flight - so only 2 seasons out of 5 I think.
TBF, I suspect the Nike deal will be something similar - more money if a Premiership club.
