I know we've been over the Dubai stuff - the point I was making concerned our the willingness of many of our fans to believe really obvious PR spin if it makes them feel better about a situation. This thread is a great example.

      We have 4 assets

      Austin
      Phillips
      Remy
      Taarabt - ( spurs get 40% )

Simpson, Hoillett and Onouha would all command pretty hefty fees IMO

He came to us for a reason - because we offered far more than anyone else. Good luck shifting him

I like Hoilett.. Think few fans on here have been very harsh on him. Had a stop start career with us because of injuries.
We shouldn't be shifting players like him.. still only 23

He has got ability I just see him as a bit of a bottle job . What I mean by that is if you were looking for someone to give that extra ten percent and bust a gut for the team he ain't your man. He doesn't seem to have that killer instinct

                                b) We have virtually no playing assets in that sense beyond Austin and Phillips. For us to sell a player, someone has to want to buy them. Someone with enough cash to lure them away from the huge salary they're almost all on at Rangers. How often do teams try and buy our players for a fee? Cardiff at least have a load of players who might get offers from elsewhere.

Most believe we paid mega money for players. Not true. Unless I've missed some players off our list from last season? I know which bunch of players I'd prefer to be trying to sell!
