    SWP

Any chance the club could let us know whats happening with this guy? ideal time for him to step up with all the injuries, yet he is nowhere to be seen. Last I heard he turned down a loan move to Charlton.

I agree With the opening poster. Besides, he is a player who usually tracks back. Sadly enough, at this stage of his career this is the best part of his play.
I would love to be proven wrong, though.

The stupid thing is, he played well since Harry came in, then this season suddenly outcast. Probably wanted to offload his salary in the summer, which is fine, however, when he doesnt go anywhere and we're still paying him, it's ludicrous to not use him! I would rather him in the side than the likes of Caroll, ONeil or Benayoun any day of the week.

Quite simple really... we want to move him on in the summer and due to fear of any potential buyer seeing him perform so p00 and being put off, the management have decided to leave him out completely. That way we have a much higher chance of selling him.

I agree. But why play one decent player, when three ineffective ones can be rotated, giving the appearance of tactical planning?

Illogical to think any potential suiters would be interested when they'll be thinking he's apparently so bad in training he cant even make our bench!

Don't forget this logic came from the same people who bought O'Neil, Benayoun etc... kind of makes sense now doesn't it?

Maybe another appearance triggers a clause in his contract giving him even more money
