A good businessman plans ahead. TF should be looking NOW for managers, who is out there, who we can bring in, not wait for Saturday and if we lose then think "you know what, looks like this Harry is a dud and wont take us forward".

I also don't get why we have to be positive for the sake of it. The club is in a shambles, a complete shambles, yes it is in a much better position than 10 years ago, but considering the investment we now have, we should be a mid-table PL club, instead we find ourselves struggling in the CHampionship.

The thing that gets me is how some people think that the club is in "a complete shambles"... even if we were to some how get relegated, the club would still be in a better position than it has been for god knows how many years.

Its a joke Nick isn't it.......the table does not lie. How would these poor sad souls cope if we really were struggling, ie fighting relegation in the champs having got relegated from the prem. Laughable really.

Completely agree..many on here were predicting we would do a wolves and go straight down on again! You really do wonder sometimes !

cos we all have the advantage of being involved in the game from the inside.....harry can only use his experience of playing with/ coaching/being personal friends of
lampard/George best and bobby moore etc

No disrespect, but his experience is part of the problem. Times have changed and someone like Martinez represents what modern management is about (I wanted TF to make a move for him instead of Hughes post Warnock but there you go). We need a younger hand on the tiller. I wish HR was more like Ron Greenwood myself, his mentor and arguably the best UK development manager of all time. That was all a long long time ago, before Harry strayed to the dark side....

We are stuck with the players we currently have until the end of the season so it makes sense to have somebody in charge who can get the most out of them. Getting rid of Harry now would therefore be a dumb move IMHO, unless we are kissing this season goodbye, which would be even dumber!

I agree Doug! He has to be held somewhat responsible for the squad he has built but a shocking number of injuries to key players has obviously hurt our league position! Let's see how this all plays out,I suspect Harry will move on if we don't get promoted!

It will look like one the most ridiculous sackings of a manager in a long time if the team sitting 4th in the Championship sack their manager.

Not a fan of Redknapp but such a decision would makes us a laughing stock. If we fail to go up big deal it could be a blessing in disguise. Squad needs to he stronger.

Completely agree! Going up this year would be a bonus! Both TF and HR stated last summer that this might be a year of consolidation and re grouping , the fact that we started so well shifted so many expectations. We have hit a dip in results and have struggled to cope with the loss of so many key players. As much as I would love to go up, another year of onsolidation may not be such a bad thing, as when we do go up I want to stay up, do a Southampton or Norwich , not a Cardiff or reading. Sacking a manager when you have not been out of the top six all season is the most ludicrous thing posted on here

Some fans need to wake up on here.. the last 2 years have been a PR mess as well as an on the pitch one.
I think some need to un-cover their ears, open their eyes wider to the issues and then put across a more substantial opinion, rather than a 'were 4th'
You cant continue to hide behind that everytime someone brings up the quite obvious issues the club has, from its accounts, to the way the squad of loans is performing.

Call me a doughnut, call me a numpty but the reality is you just don't wana hear the issues the club has for whatever reason.

Its all very well saying, 'we are 4th' but that is pretty much the ONLY positive there is at the moment (if you want to call it a positive when we were top 2 all season).. the negatives out weigh the positives like they have done the past 2 years.

I get accused about banging on about the problems the club has and the squad and the management, yet all some people on here bang on about is being 4th.
Which considering we were 2nd a month ago, haven't won in 5 and have the wage bill we have.. really isn't that great

You clearly havent understood the "we are 4th" posts.
The point is, and you seem quite simple so ill explain it clearly, you go on and on and on like we are going to be relegated, go bust any moment, and cease to exist. Of course, we would all love to be 1st or 2nd, and we all believe thats where we should be, but 4th is not the end of the world.
