Like QPR & Cesar, Wolves have been trying to offload Doyle for financial reasons. He could have come in and done a job alongside or as back up to Austin, and perhaps QPR would be at least 10 points clear of Burnley.

he has enough of that crouch/cole presence up top that the team were able to play off him first half at least - he ran out of steam a bit 2nd half but thats to be expected after hardly playing. i think he'll be an important player for the run in, not expecting him to play as pretty as kranjcar or be as prolific as charlie, but if he plays like at the weekend and gets fitter he will be very useful to the attack and the team as a whole
