True enough, but you know what you get with Doyle...will work his socks off....just hope he scores a few goals as well.

yeah and doyle showed good striker instincts too, like when he played aj in a few times, he just looked natural the way he played.
maiga had a decent debut too, a few touches and headers, got involved, attacked the space which got him the goal.
a good start for a couple of unfashionable deadline day loans.

I don't want to get carried about Doyle or maiga yet. Yes they have done well on their debut but only one game.

Same here. Zamora scored on his debut if I remember rightly. Against Wolves at home.

doyle will nick the odd goal but is not the answer to getting the goals we will need overall for a big promotion push-along side another striker he's what we are looking for. his work ethic is something we lacked and will complement everything said about him from his previous clubs. good solid signing.

He played 25 games for Wolves this season!

To be honest I thought Doyle would be awful but I'm now thinking he could turn out to be a very shrewd signing. Will weigh in with some important goals for sure.
