Players out of contract this summer

Unfortunately long term planning has been missing for years, not just the last couple of seasons... Not saying it shouldn't be considered but the lure of the big time will likely be too much...

Needs to start somewhere and hopefully the experience of the last couple of years since he arrived will see tf encourage this.

I have my doubts though, think we will make the same mistakes all over again.

am i the only one who thinks that cesar will possibly not go? if he doesnt get picked for the WC then his time is up for Brazil he may as well stay and pick up his buck then (in his eyes). if he is picked he knows he doesnt need regular football and isnt under threat and will think he doesnt have to move to get more game time

Personally the only ones I'd consider keeping are Rob Green, Richard Dunne and Armand Traore.......I might also chuck Clint Hill into the mix if we are still in the Championship. The rest I would definitely be glad to see the back of!

I think most have wised up after our experience of the last two seasons and would be sensible about it should that happen.

People like Clint Hill and Richard Dunne should be kept on in my opinion and used as back up for the centre backs that should be playing. Hill and Dunne are model professionals and the type of players that can really influence a dressing room, would also like to see them move into coaching roles or having some kind of influence around the club. Clint Hill has been a fantastic servant/ambassador for this club considering he was bought as reserve left back and has never professed to be a great player.
Same can be said for Ale Faurlin whose contract is also up.

Pretty sure he signed a 4 year, £3.5million a year contract, plus nice bonuses for each season in the Premiership. A big pay cut thou for relegation, the same as everyone else. Even Harry took a big pay cut when we got relegated, but he's on a good bonus for promotion this season or his position will be reviewed.
