i didnt see him before so checked out a youtube of one game he played 6 months ago vs lens. first impression is that he is similar to hoilett, left sided dribbler, i think his stats say he gets more goals/assists but that is in a different league. tbh I'm hoping Traore gets a run of starts playing on the left, he seemed to be growing into that role at LW in recent appearences, better than he is at LB anyway.

Am with a few others here. "Breaking News" is when he has signed - ie something different to the situation we have been in for the last few weeks of him not signed.

His agent was over 10 days ago apparently agreeing terms but no fee had been agreed.

Big Beard seems to get some stick on here. To be honest I think he has done great for us generally but has been given an incredibly difficult set of tasks. He keeps being told to do deals for players who often should be joining bigger teams. As with Hooper they would see us as somewhere to go if no better offer comes along. In other words Beard has been a victim of our ambition. I'm not complaining; I accept that for the better quality of players we go for we won't be successful but if we occasionally pull it off great.

Did a fantastic job in summer and last January in getting rid of players and in getting in a virtually new squad. When you think about it the overhaul has been massive. Not his fault Hughes wanted a load of players who largely didn't work out.
