and if you listen to Harry during press conferences he always says he doesn't know anything as it's all down to the Chairman and CEO!

I think it's just a convenient way of fending off questioning from an enthusiastic fan or a journo looking for a scoop. Of course they all know, however if you don't want to get drawn into anything just say the other two are dealing with it!

Listen to Harry talking in his last press conference about Diakite. "If they want him they'll have to take his contract...I'm not letting him go for nothing...no one does us any favours", etc. etc. As soon as he gets asked any specifics he's all "Oh don't know nuffin' 'bout that...the chairman and Phill are dealing with it so I'm not sure where we are with it...."

Any of those supposed comments made by TF could have applied to anybody. You can't seriously believe that ultimately, whether or not we sign a player is Beard's decision alone.
