So having seen the lad up close yesterday have any views changed??

He definitely looked lively and would certainly be worth the £1.3mil of anyones money. Had a few chances, grabbed a goal, but for me he looked like there is still more work needed but would have been worth having and developing for the future

Possibly not the striker that would have pushed us over the line this season but would have been worth having in the ranks at the price he went for

Brillaint buy for them, but thats his standard i would imagine. Will get 15 to twenty a season for them and keep them safe every season. Wouldnt of minded if we picked him up, but he wouldnt of got a game and deffo never would next season if and when we go up.

In all honesty I thought he was average, despite scoring. Miss-controlled the ball on numerous occasions and generally didn't look all that.

That said, still scored & I suppose it could be argued that a good striker scores even when not playing too well.

£1.3m is peanuts in football transfer terms though and he looked worth that sum easily.

Wells is ok, but think we can and need to do better than him. Chas is a far superior player imo.

He would have been an ideal replacement for AJ if he's still off to Palarse

But that would require long term planning, and employing coaching staff to improve players

Cross him off the list and trust that Arry has a plan
