Spot on. He was like Bamby on ice. Far too lightweight and couldn't control a ball to save his life.In all honesty I thought he was average, despite scoring. Miss-controlled the ball on numerous occasions and generally didn't look all that.
That said, still scored & I suppose it could be argued that a good striker scores even when not playing too well.
£1.3m is peanuts in football transfer terms though and he looked worth that sum easily.Comment

Well worth that money even as a back up striker I think it is another striker we missed out on for a real bargain price. So having seen the lad up close yesterday have any views changed??
He definitely looked lively and would certainly be worth the £1.3mil of anyones money. Had a few chances, grabbed a goal, but for me he looked like there is still more work needed but would have been worth having and developing for the future
Possibly not the striker that would have pushed us over the line this season but would have been worth having in the ranks at the price he went for
Thats 2 goals in 2 league games for him now already.
He can join our growing list of best gems QPR missed out on.Comment

When he scored on Saturday, the first thing I did was turn round and say to the fella next to me... £1.3m he woulda cost!
Very frustrating... Didn't really get the comments on why we didn't sign him but oh well!!!Comment

Wells looks a good prospect and a bargain at 1.3 million. Think Harry wants a even better prospect in ntep, this my gut feeling anyway.Comment
