Time will tell but I think your right. But you also have to remember that we have the best judges of players on this board than anywhere on the planet.

There have been other players I thought we should have signed ie Jason Scotland, Beckford to name a couple that have not really set the world alight and some we have signed that haven't worked ie Rob Hulse who I thought at the time was a good buy, just shows you never know how a player will turn out, might work in one team, not another.

Vaughan and Wells partnership could be lethal for Hudders

It's a class partnership and very shrewd business by Huddersfield. They are building a decent squad down there. Might be enough for play offs this year but if not think they will have a good go next year.

The only reason I can think we aren't going for wells is arrogance of thinking we will be a prem team next year and he won't make the grade. Maybe Harry thinks spending 2 - 3 mill on a player he only sees in his plans for 4 months just ain't for him.

To me it's obvious we have an old dog lined up with experience or there's a big surprise on the way! A Jordan Rhodes type who we know can at least do it at championship level. It's clear Harry wants experience tight now.

I honestly don't think we will be! I think Harry just believes that in the championship it's easier to do it with pros who ha e been round the block and you can rely on.ie what he did a Pompey!
A lot of our over 30s are out of contract in the summer and think of we find ourselves in the prem Harry will be bringing in younger players.
He's not stupid he knows a team with toast over 30s in the prem wouldn't last long. If we don't go up I don't think Harry will stay another year!

Spot on, so bored of people bringing up names because they've seen him play on telly twice, not what we need right now. Perfect for Huddersfield who will be in championship for 2-3 seasons, we need players who can potentially step up to the prem, there is no evidence that Wells can do that IMO

So i take it that you have seen him more than twice as you state hes not what we need right now. I wantesign wells as i saw some real determination and finishing skill when i watched him and he has consistently scored regularly. Who do you suggest other than Prem has beens?
