Spot on, so bored of people bringing up names because they've seen him play on telly twice, not what we need right now. Perfect for Huddersfield who will be in championship for 2-3 seasons, we need players who can potentially step up to the prem, there is no evidence that Wells can do that IMO

He would have been cheap and you never know, could have done better than AJ and Bobby which cost much more?

See at 1.5 mill he's def worth a gamble even if we did bring someone else in on loan. Just seen his interview with sky sports news. Seems really level headed and determined. The type of player who wants to succeed regardless of money.

I would go for Billy Sharp, and for an absolute dream signing then Shane Long. Not saying he would be a ad signing but just think now isn't the time for a gamble, and not fair on the lad to sign him, play him say 10 games then we get promoted and he sits on the bench. IMO that's how it would go.

He is very pacey and that is something we lack up top and at any level defenders do not like forwards with pace. Would have been worth a punt at the price that he went for.
