Is there some kind of rule somewhere that says anyone we sign this window must have previously played for Harry? we seemed to be constantly linked to his old players. Get some youngsters in with something to prove.

Defoe won't play in the championship he is too good for it, Carlton cole is our best shout a proven championship level goal scorer, i don't think we should leave it to chance by signing someone like Wells who may struggle at championship level.

If Carlton gets an extension at West Ham I'm more than confident the gaffer will find a suitable striker to support Charlie, BZ needs to get fit asap as well.
