Well one thing the team does not lack is passion, commitment, desire, effort and do not care attitude and on that basis its a s hit post although its your viewOriginally posted by Bill View PostI am just saying what I see,if you cant see it tough
Lack intent and cutting edge yes agree but as for the rest you have described last years team not this years. If we lacked everything you have said above we would not have been grinding out 1 nil wins most of the season

Kevin, I would have taken it then, but recently we have been playing s*it and it is like Bill says: we are going in the wrong direction. Only a fool would be satisfied at the moment.Originally posted by Kevin Mcleod View PostYou aint stopped sla gg ing and moaning since you got here. Answer this question with a one word answer, a yes or a no. Nothing else please.
Would you of taken one point away from second place in january at the start of the season?

Leicester were going in the wrong direction when they lost two on the trot and drew a few as were Burnley when they went 5 or 6 without winning after beating us. We have played appallingly all season and we are right in there with the other movers and shakers if we can find some form and goals we will go up. Its rare a side goes the full season without a slump lets hope this is ours and we come out of it tomorrowOriginally posted by Timmy the Doc View PostKevin, I would have taken it then, but recently we have been playing s*it and it is like Bill says: we are going in the wrong direction. Reading two years back were in a worse position outside the playoffs but they clicked in January and went up automatically from memory there fans were questioning McDermott at that time!!!!!

We have been playing shite all season, absolutley dog shite, but its still been good enough shite to keep us top. Can anyone honestly remember a truly great performance. Whats changed?
Whats changed is we aint top two so the moaners have got something to moan about cos we aint in the automatics by one measly point thats what.

Your thread came across as "I told you all so".Originally posted by geejaybee View PostAfter 62 years of loyal support what do you think? We're all hopefully like-minded supporters who want our team to do well.I'm not an attention seeker like your inferring. It doesn't take a genius to see how our season is panning out and that our attack needs sorting ASAP.
Maybe not you but lots of posters seem to enjoy us losing so they can come and gloat.

Like most of us,I hate losing, why would I want to gloat? I didn't mean to sound "I told you so" and I thought it was pretty obvious, the way we've been grinding out points against mediocre sides, that with Leicester and Notts F back to back and an improving Watford,we were likely to slip down the table.Obvious to everyone that is except the manager and staff.Originally posted by jfish View PostYour thread came across as "I told you all so".

Every single person who has watched us this season has seen we are playing shite and relying to much on charlie. You just got really lucky he got injured or we would still be top two. But, you will be wrong again soon, when we get someone in and start winning one nil at home and drawing away nil nil every game.Originally posted by geejaybee View PostLike most of us,I hate losing, why would I want to gloat? What is it five points out of a possible 15? The slump as you call it - which implies we were somehow going brilliantly before - started before Austin was injured. He was getting us out of jail but Gee and others have been pointing out all season that there were structural problems with the side yet several posters dismissed them as moaners etc who knew nothing about football.Originally posted by Kevin Mcleod View PostEvery single person who has watched us this season has seen we are playing shite and relying to much on charlie. Think we got the sarcasm the first time. Some clearly think the first half of the season showed our intent and is a great platform to launch a promotion bid. Others are very negative. My own view is we get a good striker and a midfield player who can score - like Ince - and we are in with an extremely good chance of promotion. Rely on Austin - with hobble on parts for Johnson and Zamora, perhaps with Kane on loan thrown in - and I think we will really struggle. Anyway, no point arguing, lets wait and see...Originally posted by Kevin Mcleod View PostIts been a terrible season and our position all season up untill two days ago has shown how bad the infastructure really has been. I totally agree. Hate being top two all season, proves the rot is really setting in.
