Yes that's fine, but the stewards don't let ya past until you've shown em. I'm a ST and some wally of a steward the other week said he needed to see my ticket before letting me upafter I had kindly refused his offer to show me to my seat. Zero common sense from em, proper simpletons.Originally posted by Kirill View PostThey migt be asking that to show you where your seat is? If you are not a season ticket holder and attend only a few games every season, like I do, then they can actually be helpful. I sometimes have orientation difficulties in crowded spaces and the steward standing at the op of the stairs next to my block entrance, quickly checking my ticket and pointing me in the right direction is a good thing. You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Unless you're Heisenberg ;)Originally posted by Rangers77 View PostNo. Before you entered the ground... They wanted to see the ticket before you presented them at the turnstile. Your suggestion is good stewarding. I'm not anti steward. Just dumb a55 actions. i follow any sensible instruction. For instance I'm happy to be frisked before an away game even though one glance at me and an assessment of my age, bearing and demographic would tell you I'm not likely to be carrying an offensive weapon....

That's the one, I said to her to use some common sense and she said we are told what to do, so I said to her if they told you to play with yourself would you do it and she replied NO, so I said so you don't do everything they say so use some fuc*ing common sense and she just shook her head and walked off. The steward who pulled the kid off a seat got what he deserved but still went around acting billy big balls during half time.Originally posted by NortholtRanger View PostWas that the dyk/e? The best way to deal with this is to write a letter to Tony. I bet he'd do something about it. You would need to call out specific incidents and specific stewards though - a general whinge wouldn't do any good.'Only a Ranger!' cried Gandalf. 'My dear Frodo, that is just what the Rangers are: the last remnant in the South of the great people, the Men of West London.' - Lord of the Rings, Book II, Chapter I - Many Meetings.

I would argue that having a good relationship with your customers is about as important as it gets! Nobody should have to leave LR pi$$ed off because of the heavy handed actions of some idi0t who is working for the club!Originally posted by Kevin Mcleod View PostPlease leave tony alone. Please, dont anyone write to him about stewards , warm beer, weak bovril or signed shirts. Let him get on with the important stuff.'Only a Ranger!' cried Gandalf. You make a good point!'Only a Ranger!' cried Gandalf. 'My dear Frodo, that is just what the Rangers are: the last remnant in the South of the great people, the Men of West London.' - Lord of the Rings, Book II, Chapter I - Many Meetings.
