seriously to what ? given a football pitch is 2/2.5 acres

I doubt the footprint of old trafford covers more than about 8 acres

Maybe in 15 years we will expand to the first 100000 seater stadium when we are playing in the champions league following retaining the trophy for the third year in a row

"With a capacity of 60,361, the Emirates is the third-largest football stadium in England after Wembley and Old Trafford."
emirates is 17 acres....im guessing the foot print of a big stadium can fit in 6 acres......

Chelsea struggled to fill 42k at one time and now their looking for a 60-65k stadium.old Trafford ain't hemmed in like this site is, that's why United can expand without any problems.we would not be able to expand, IF we should ever need to!!!

I was thinking of large crowds walking from North Acton along the Western Avenue, don't think the Poles/Locals will be happy

Superstructure for emirates apparently is for another tier which could make capacity over 100k
