with Remy banging the goals in for fun at Toon ......Does this mean his potential value is rising or are we tied into this release clause £ 8 m ?? thingy .

Also the fact that Toon paid us £ 2 m for his services for the season ( is this a loan fee or downpayment on a opton to buy ?? )

Seriously ...if the release clause has expired ...and he is one of the leading scorers in the Prem.....he has to be worth £ 20 m !! .....Or have I got something wrong ??

Isn't he still on bail? Also I understood that his option to leave ran out in the summer and that he is a Rangers player and will only be transferred on the Club's say so. Maybe that's a bit simplistic but that was my take on it.

Remy would have to agree to sign for Newcastle even if they have they buy option. What's a couple of million in Remys back pocket and £20 million in the bank for us if it comes to it for him not to sign for them.
