80 train fare return.
120 cheap hotel for 2 nights.
150 alcohol for 2 nights
50 for eating out cheap for 2 nights, unless he wants takeaway.
25 football ticket

Thats on the cheap and 425 already I could go on kirill, like I said any city centre won't be cheap regardless of it being a dive

£54 Train or if his going with his mates then car with 4 people in it = £15 ea
2 Nights B&B £20 p/ night and they are not Sh*tholes either, remember its December they need the business.
£80 Alcohol, cheap as chips up there,again all fighting for trade 2 for 1 offers all night
£40 Food again 3 course meal £15 all fighting for trade and a bit of lunch
£25 tkt

Weekend will cost £175/£200, value in my eyes,especially if he gets his di*k wet in the price !!!

Yes, this is a funny thread! I'm really not sure about the premise that if you go to Blackpool you will inevitably spend £150 on booze over two nights. At £3.50 a pint that's 43 pints!

Anyway, what's wrong with a trip to Blackpool? I went there myself a few years ago when we won 3-0 in the rain. Fantastic day out (and although I did partake of the odd tipple or five, I'm sure it didn't come to £150!).

Agree with all of that apart from the booze. 80 quid for 2 nights and a day drinking? I've obviously been doing something very wrong for the last 20 years!

46 year old here, lives near Wolverhampton. EVERY game is an away game for me.

And, I usually go with my old man, or the wife... And that means, I usually PAY for it all !

Like us all, I have had too many days of pain, sadness, hurt, disappointment to really put BIG money into Rangers;
for a little while at least.

Fair weather fan ? Quite possibly.

Aware that life is short, and choose how I now spend my money and time more ? You bet.
