My take on it is this.

If you watch him on soccer am cross bar challenge, he is totally oblivious with regards to basic instructions, ie before taking the kick please say your name and position. That would be because the guy is on medication imo. .

Some people here kinda surprise me with their attitude, W12 suggesting it was anything more than a language barrier is hilarious but even more funny is that some people agree with him. The boy is extremely talented and, despite what many people will say, he has had more good games for us than bad when played in his correct position. Remember, he was dreadful against liverpool but I cant really remember many other bad games for us. Just a few stats, he started 11 matches last season and had an 87 percent pass accuracy most of which were forward passes. Most will say stats don't show anything but the fact that he plays so many forward passes and actually attempts to beat his man is something we have been crying out for and most have already said that we dont have enough players willing to attack from midfield. This man would solve that problem, while also being solid enough defensively to deal with threats in this league. Say what you want about his mental state, but give him some confidence and you have yourself a very good player and someone who will be an asset to us for this season and potentially many seasons to come.

It's my opinion that he has some sort of mental "issue" going on (Whether it's chronic or a short-term thing we will never know unless he decides to come out with it due to the Disability Discrimination Act). The reason I say that is that when he first came to us he was pretty good. powerful, storming forward, and with a half decent vision of the game. Then that all went to pot starting with him not being able for selection despite not being injured and still being at the games/in the changing room etc.

So, if (and that's a big if) he could return to those attributes that he first showed then I think he would be storming the in the championship in the right situation, for example, when we get a bit stagnant in the middle and we just need someone big and powerful to pick the ball up and run at the oppo.

That would be because the guy is on medication imo. He doesn't take on board what someone tells him, hence why Harry isn't a fan of the player. Harry loves a player that listens and that is why Adel and Diakite will never play for this football club imo.
Diakite unlike adel does have some serious issues and that is why it won't ever be spoken about. Mental illness is not something that will be brought up on a website or at a game. It's a shame because he clearly has ability but when the brain doesn't match it, then you're wasting your time. For some to compare him to m'bia is a joke, he is by far a better player than old peanut head.
