True but the price tag being mentioned for Wells would be in total not up front. He's also going to improve drastically over the next few years whereas Becchio and Sharp are already the finished article. I wouldn't be disappointed if we signed Sharp at all though but I just believe Wells would be a good addition to the squad now but more importantly a great signing for the future.

I agree but there are a lot on here who don't want future but want now ..hence threads like Austin is the new Sheron and the kid that palace got from Peterborough is a flop after 2 premier games. Kids like wells and our kids need nurturing in a settled and successful side. Or they will become the next in a long like of the next les ferdinands or Kevin gallens that never make the grade

I Agree but £3 million For someone who has scored goals in a division 2 leagues below us is a gamble. and i am sure if one of our youngsters had played as many games at that level then they would have comparable stats. I also agree that someone like Becchio would be a good signing. Again experienced in this league. My point is is that if we are going to spend money on strikers and we all agree that it is a top priority then the becchio / billy sharp type player would be better for me with our younger players as back up when required.

Your money is it? No? Well stop your mithering then and let those at the club with the dough part with it on our behalf...

I don't claim to be ITK, you've labelled me with that. All I do is post what I hear from the club, albeit I only hear stuff on match day unless I talk to others who work there on the phone. Whether the info is spot on or not, you can choose what you want to do with the it, that's totally up to you. I suppose if your life is so interesting that you have to maintain an ITK thread about, then you fill your boots sunshine. Couldn't care less either way.

ok, let me rephrase that, Queens park rangers football club, along with their spokesman Mr Dazzer, has only had 1 correct prediction out of 13.
